Junior High School. Something that you either dread or extremely look forward to. It's the time where you leave your comfy little cottage of elementary school and head off to join the "big guys" in the new home of JR high. As a 6th grader in the month of middle-May, my parents and classmates have been bugging me about my opinion of leaving and going to JR high. And let me tell you my true opinion:
I have no opinion.
While I'm going to miss all of my former teachers that have been with me since day 1, I'm also excited about the new adventures that await me in JR high. While I'm going to make new friends from other elementary schools, the memories that I have made with my home school family can never be compared to. And while I (sort of) like the reputation I have at elementary school, JR high might be the chance that I've been looking for to start over. I honestly have no idea of how I feel. Completely honest.
There are three categories that 6th graders in elementary school feel in the months before they go to JR high school:
The nervies: These are the people who are either nervous or not willing to go to JR high. They usually have lots of good friends at school, along with many good memories that they don't want to leave behind. Also probably a teacher's pet
The happy campers: The people who can't wait for graduation to come and the elementary school part of their life to be over. Usually don't have many close friends, either edgy and want to get away from so many children younger than they are, or just a person with a bad rep that wants a second chance, the one who is probably going to cross the border of school families and befriend another group.
Anyways, sorry for the short post, kind of tired today. Tomorrow's topic will be about Fortnite, so stay tuned if you want to listen to that
Toodaloo,
Liberty
